Swell Incoming.....

Well exciting times ahead for the East Coast if your a surfer... We have lots of storm activity up North with TC Ului spinning up in the Coral Sea and looking like sending us some decent size swell over the next few days and through the weekend. But what was looking like the perfect cyclone for us is unfortunately going to hit land somewhere in Central Queensland. Hopefully it is easy on the guys up there and doesn't cause to much damage. As for us that means the swell has downgraded and wont really get as big as expected. But there is a chance it could re-develop again and send us some more swell next week.. But there has been no shortage of waves this week either.. Burleigh was as good as it gets at 3ft on Monday.. 20 year Lifeguard veteran at Burleigh Mick Di Betta even commented that it was back looking like the glory days of the 80's. Lots of Burleigh Barrell's were had by all the boys. I missed Monday as i was flying back from Sydney. As for the next few days only time will tell .The forecast has been like a Yo Yo..Up and down and will be hard to really get a sense of where to go but there are a few knooks and cranny's that will be pumping if u know where to go.. Good luck to my mate Billy who is competing up at Noosa in pumping waves in a SUP contest and to all who are looking for waves over the next few days..Hope everyone gets there fix.. I'm sure there be some amazing footage turn up here and there after the weekends out. Be safe and take care.. JM

  1. Hey Jamie
    how the hell are you????
We have been enjoying checking out your website and blog as my son Billy aged 10 and his cousin Taj are really keen little surfers and the bug has recently just kicked in. Everything they talk about is surf related it's so funny to listen to them. They saw you in the latest tracks mag and i said hey i went to school with Jamie, they are very impressed about that hehehe.
Anyway great to see your doing so well and congratulations on all your successes, Love your website,i'm studying web design at the moment so it's great to come across well built sites. All the best Amanda Bruton
